Gold Mask with Black Fringe

This one just sort of happened. It seems recently that regardless of the plan in my head the materials just want to go together in certain ways.

I used actual gold dust mixed with acrylic medium to cover the surface of the mask so it matches the color of the ornament pretty well.

The fringe was a very spontaneous thing, but it does make it more interesting.
